I have a long time friend and former roommate coming out here to stay for a while. He's taking the time to get his mind straight as his last job turned into a complete s**$ fest. He's also going to be looking for work out here and such.

Well while he's here I figured it'd be good to get out and go on a cruise. Most of the cruises I did in San Diego was because of his boredom lol. It will probably be on the 18th or 25th depending on when he gets here. So I thought I'd go ahead and see who all would be interested in coming along.


No route is set yet but will more than likely head towards Elbe with a stop for lunch. I will work on getting the route set up soon and post it here. I'm also going to post this up on a few of the other forums I frequent as I'd like to get a good group together for this one. Kinda miss the days of having 20 plus cars rolling together.

So consider this a heads up!

 

Taking a RWD sports car to Elbe in January seems a bit risky, there is a pretty good chance of snow. Driving some of the back roads out on the Kitsap peninsula or Whidbey island might be a better bet. Unfortunately this time of year just isn't a good time for cruises with the high chance of rain.

 

I towed my RX through Elbe on the way up from Washougal, haha.

Yeah it'll be a saturday more than likely. I'll keep an eye out on the weather. Most everyone I know said that Elbe should be ok. If it's got any snowfall than I will simply go another direction.

I've never been one to exclude someone cause of their car. I don't care what you have as long as you don't act reckless.

 

If I can get the day off I'll join you guys on a drive. I'll bring my fairlady if it hasn't sold yet, my rx7 will still be on a boat coming from Japan so I can't take it

 

As long as I'm on 4 wheels, I drive pretty boring.

 

Ok everyone. My buddy is flying in tomorrow. So I'm going to sit down this weekend and work out the details for this cruise. Stay tuned for further announcements.

We will be stopping at the Mt Rainier RR diner for lunch. We can also go down to the Alder Lake park for pictures and what not than head home.

 

Sounds fun. I'll be there with more blub blub than brap brap unfortunately, but it'll be cool to meet some of y'all and smell some rotary exhaust.

 

it'll be hit or miss wether or not we can get my car done by that time, hopefully we can cause id love to take the FD out on its first cruise with the club
