MT. ST. HELENS FUN STUFFED ANIMAL RUN
HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE THAT CAN AT THIS MEET. IF YOU HAVN'T MADE IT IN THE PAST....... WELL HERE'S YOUR CHANCE. WE'VE HAD UP TO 28 CARS ON THE DRIVE IN THE PAST. WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE THIS YEAR. HERE IS ALL THE INFO. INFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mt. St Helens Fun Stuffed Animal Run MAY 19th, 2012 Please bring a new stuffed animal or two. We will be distributing them to the police department for the children they encounter when out on calls. Not many things are more soothing to a young child than a stuffed animal. North Drivers: Everyone from the North will have their first stop at the 272nd Park n Ride to meet the first group. The directions are as follows. Head South on I-5. Take exit #147 (272nd St). Turn right off of exit. At first light turn right. Turn right into Park n Ride. If you need gas, turn left off of exit and there is an Am-Pm down the street on the left. Meeting time: 7:45am Leaving time: 8:00am (Please don’t be late, as we will be leaving at exactly 8:00 to meet up with the next drivers). If you need gas please fill up before joining us so we can be on time to Olympia. Onward Olympia: Approximately 41 miles to Olympia (44 mins) (Meeting group) Turn left onto 272nd; get in the far right lane. After the first light you will be getting onto I-5 going south. Take the PACIFIC AVE. exit- exit number #107. Turn LEFT onto PACIFIC AVE SE. Look for Albertson’s on the left hand side. (About ¼ to ½ mile) End at 3540 PACIFIC AVE SE. We will meet at (Izzys Pizza). (There should be plenty of time to fill up here. I expect we should have about 40 minutes to do so. Meeting time: 8:45am Leaving time: 9:00am _________________________________________________ Together We Are (1st Rest Stop) Approximately 30 miles past Olympia (33 mins) Take I-5 South towards Portland. This exit is just past Centralia. We will be taking Exit #79 (Chamber way). There is Gas and Fast food at this stop. Estimated arrival: 9:30am Estimated Departing 9:45am Onward… Mt St. Helens Approximately 30 miles from exit #79 (33 mins) Take Exit 49 off of I-5 (Castle Rock exit). There is Gas at this stop. Estimated arrival: 10:15am Estimated Departing: 10:30am _________________________________________________ Mt St. Helens Park We will be stopping at the point of interest, at the entrance of the park for our lunch break, group pictures, and collect the stuffed animals for the police department. From there...... well depends on what roads are open this time of year. Note: Please drive with caution. I know that everyone wants to show off his or her cars, but I'd rather see everyone make it home safely. Please take the road conditions into mind, especially in and around Mount St. Helen's. |

Great shots, I love the fact 2 of us had old school Atari shirts on. Was 100x the fun I was expecting, seriously. Having never gone up there before I was amazed by the scenery and everyone was great to hang out with. My son is really loving the 7's as well.
