Looking for an FD

New here, but not to RX7s. I'm looking for a CLEAN FD. R1/R1 Preferred, no AUTOMATICS! If anyone knows of one, please let me know! THANKS! Also, I'm trying to get back into the seen, so I hope I'll get to meet some of you some time soon. Can't make the 10th, but I'll try for next month. I'm Dan, you can check out my myspace.com page at http://myspace.com/heydanniceshot. Thanks!

I know, I know. Everyone is looking for one. I'm trying to get a decent one for $15k or less. I'd prefer a stock one, but every R1/2 I find is just riced out to hell or been driven by someone who has no idea what maintenance is.

hmm i'd offer you my touring package with no problems with it after i install the new parts for $11,995 to 12,995, i originally bought it for $9k with problems, 2nd turbo didn't work, lower and upper rad hoses had to be changed, radiator was cracked, second turbo wasn't boosting, i fixed all those summer of '04.
but i just bought all the hoses for the whole cooling system to make sure it doesn't leak again, a new water pump w/ gasket, thermostat, 99 spec turn signals with a C-west N1 bumper yet to be painted. BAD THING IS... it's AUTO, but hey, if you want to invest into a conversion project i've read about it being done for $1500 minimum with all self work and necessary parts to complete the swap in the 3rd gen section.

as you can see not quite done... in about 2 weeks it should be painted and flawless, minus the age old interior, (it's inevitable)

I think I remember seeing your car at Hayes for a long time. Its a nice one, I hope everything works out between you and whats left of Hayes. Good Luck on your FD search.

It didn't. I ended up sueing them for fraud, and settling, and selling the car. Now I'm looking for another to start over and do it right. So, if anyone comes across a really great one I want back in the game!

I am sure that most of us would drive our 7's into our rooms if we had the ability.

A friend of mine (they guy who did my bodywork and paint) has a pretty sweet garage setup. That was just the build process, but now it's like sitting in a living room with cars instead of pictures on the walls of them. Actually, most of you probably know him, or of him. Jeff Miller - JMI Motoring. He did the S4 Blue Bomex Fortune Widebody Supra and Victor Joe's white RX7. They win pretty much every show they're in.

Never heard of any of that, but then again I don't pay much attention to car shows. Sweet garage though.

I've got a 93 touring for sale. I made a post a while ago, but I haven't listed it officially yet. It looks just like my avatar and my sig has most of the info. It's got 81k 5spd and it is fun! (the reason I have been procrastinating) I had it sit for 2 1/2 years and just a month and a half ago took it to GTGarage and had it gone through and I drive it a couple times a week now. I have pictures Chris took and can e-mail them if your interested.

Cool, I have some pics in an e-mail Chris from GtGarage took when he was going over the car last month. I am not very web savvy so I don't have a web page or anything, but I can send them to you. My email is pdxrx7@yahoo.com if you would like to see the pics. The car has not been detailed in a while and the pictures are when it was at the shop, so nothing too pretty lol but you can get a good idea of the car.
