a guy offered me his 1990 nissan 240 plus 800 dollars for my car.
his car needs an ecu and starter.
i might still come to meets though? if i would be accepted xD

 

i would be very cautious in that trade, a 240sx is ussually worth a bit more then an s4 na fc.... sounds fishy no starter and no ecu? the engine is probably blown.

 

I would advise against a trade for a 240. Performance wise, the FC>240 in most all forms. The FC has so much going for it right out of the box, while the 240 needs alot to be on the same page. I respect the 240 quite a bit, but personally never trade an FC for one.

As far as the meets go, I no longer have a Rx7 and still frequent the Izzy's meet in my Impreza. I think you'd be fine.

 

well another reason for this is that i want the 800 to fix my moms truck (i wrecked it) if i do fix it, then i get the truck as my DD while i make the 240 a project. we were going to make it so where he got his 240 running and we did a trade with less cash (which would prove that its not an engine problem) either way i think i will do it because i really need to fix the truck and would like a project. i cant refuse.. especially since i paid 350 for my car and fixed it up so it looks really good. his car is selling for 500 and 800 cash on top. he used to drive a 90 rx7 n/a so he wants a fc again.. win/win in my eyes

im keeping the rx7, installing a fuel cut off switch sometime this week to minimize the flooding.

 

good boy. have u replaced your spark plugs, if there kind of old it will be easier to flood, also make sure you have a strong battery.

 

i have a weak *** battery and new plugs that i need to install
im going to hit it from all angles this week lol, wont know what hit him !!
