Jongers brilliant White FD sold
I always wanted my dream FD to be a white base model version. Since Jongers just sold I was a little worried that my chance slipped away. I am still looking for advancement in this state and I don't think I will leave. I like this place too much to do that. As a result I might be selling all my cars for now. You know thats fine, I need a little stability in my life and look towards a future. My own house, blah blah blah. Maybe I won't be a young to when I get back to my dreams but atleast I won't half-ass them like most do. I mean look at Kai, his FD is awesome :icon_tup:
So I got to thinking, if there are few FD's left in the U.S and one day I make alot more money fuck it, this is my solution http://www.modifiedcars-export-japan...de0200330.html |
Only two FC's :( Well fortunately one has the hood i wanted, lol http://www.modifiedcars-export-japan...de0200054.html

FC's are really Old as far as Japan is concerned, it is harder to keep a older car in Japan over time. It is why you see alot of awesome AE86's, and to own a car in Japan is much more expensive.
I know most will say, "It is RHD it will be a bitch to leaglize" well it is well worth it when I am rocking a 1996 FD or newer |

^ what?

You ship the shell and the motor seperate, its easyer for customs. I don't know the exact reasons why. I had no clue its cheaper. seems it would be cheaper in the car less space taken. Takes awhile to get things from japan though. I waited six months for parts once.
That FC also comes with a power FC for a FC. I'm to lazy and broke to do the math of what that car would cost. |
shipping in pieces is what some US s15 owners have done. If you ship the shell, and have it labeled under as a parts car you wont get hassled by customs and you will get the container shipment with less wait time.
or If you ship the the car as a whole, and don't label the shipment manifest correctly, and have it tagged for "offroad use only". Customs will hold your car for a very long time, or send it to the crusher. If you do list it under "offroad use only" you cannot register it in the US as a streetlegal car without paying several hefty fines, and doing a stack of paperwork. or If you use a licensed importer to ship you the car as a whole. You can get it registered and tagged with a US vin. But the overhead fee is astronomical for US importers or You can buy an imported car from canada, and have to deal with fee's and paperwork. |
Or you could just pick up a FD here, and save yourself a lot of money.
RHD is overrated... |
or I could not and spend more money for a newer FD
not buying because of RHD alone, Newer year FD's for sale, more color selection, more choices. |
I'd like to own a rhd. over rated or not its somthing you dont see everyday, but neither is a fd. I'd really like a RHD old school. like a duece, or r100
|
jinx now your talking. or fuck it to one up that something like this would be bad ass. nobody would know what to say
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0UEuTIp_P4 it seems im too stupid to be able to embed that but yea |
Do you mean Johgar?
|
Naw I'd still rather have a RHD import. seems pointless to have a rhd domestic. I do like domestics though. but the corvette in covette sumer with mark hammel was rhd.
|
current comments kind of drifted away from the point I was trying to make. It is not all about RHD but the nessisarry reason to import an FD of my choice.
|
its newer we know, but RHD is pimpin thats all I'm saying.
|
RHD is not pimpin
