Wow in my opinion your nuts for coming from Tacoma to drive around Portland in the rain... I hope the rain holds off till the afternoon. I prefer the non-liquid sunshine...

It was a good drive, could have been a little less 'liquidy' but it was pretty fun none the less, so I guess I was way off when I said '100 mi' I reset my trip odo at Kelly point park and When I got home it was about 180 miles. Yep, I burned a whole tank of premium premix too... I need to lean out my map some. Also having a wierd fuel pressure issue, erratic dropping, like the pump is flickering of then on.

Here is the one good pic I took with my phone, I know you guys took a bunch. I'm probably going to take my car out of comission for the winter and do some wiring fixes and some clean up other things.

need a better exhuast before paint. Fell off 2 times on the drive. I got the problem fixed for now. I just had to take the clamp off so I could get it on all the way and clamp it back. where where you at. should of come play in the rain with us. sure we all had at least one butt puckering moment but no major mishaps.

Did the most epic 1 wheel peel today (Open diff) Sat and just burnt out for 20 secounds 5 feet of rubber shavings, and splattered burnt rubber all over my buddys 323. Good times. I really need to get an LSD.

 

Hey cant wait to start working on my winter project so i can come show her off ... Should be alot of fun. looks like it could of been alot of fun... Good ol oregon rain never hurt

 

i got 2 exhaust in bac yard...2 bad 2 nd gen

 

I don't want a stock exhaust anyways. I just need some 2.5" flanges so its not silp fitted anymore. and so I can hook a cat up when I need to pass DEQ, witch is coming up all to fast.

thats how I'm set up right now, 2.5" strait from the header back to the "muffler" Well I guess that muffler does make a big differance from open header. What does every one else think?

Its not at my house yet. I have to get insurance so I can get a trip permit. And my stupid dog ate the usb for my camera. So its going to be a few weeks. sometime next month I should be driving it. then I can have my friend Jen take some pics and send them to me.

Bump for the second annual 'Liquid sunshine metro rally'... or Whatever.

I will update the route, because last year, we got a little off track out on the East Side...

 

Was still tons of fun. But yeah, more than 5 cars this year, possably post the pictures afterwards also. We also need to locate a large parking lot to do some donuts. make sure are tires are nice and rounded.

 

Here is the Updated Route. Since we got a little lost out on the east side, the END will be at Willamette Park in West Linn. This was pretty fun last year and we only had a few drivers. It was a great way to see the Portland Metro area and see places that are close, but you rarely ever visit.

There are stops along the way where we can take pictures and go to the restroom and eat and chat. Also if you only wanted to do part of the drive you can meet us at any of the stops along the way although the times listed are approximate. If anyone has any suggestions for a different date or route post up...

Lombard, Across St. Johns Bridge, Up German Town Rd., Down Skyline Blvd to Moreland Rd? left at Dorland Rd.

Stop #2 Chevron/McDonalds in North Plains 11:45-12:30



Glencoe Rd through Hillsburrito to 219 Hillsboro Hyw head toward Newberg.

Stop #3 Jaquith Park North Parking lot in Newberg 1:15-1:45



Wilsonville Road toward Wilsonville

Stop #4 Wilsonville Memorial Park 2:30-3:00



Continue down Wilsonville Rd to Boeckman? Rd Right at Mountain Rd Left at Hoffman Rd, left at Petes Mountain Rd/Kiser Rd. to West Linn.

Stop #5 Willamette Park ~4:00
