I might have to start cheating on the RX7...

So I came across a Opel GT the other day, no for sale on it just sitting behind a old building with the cover hardly still on it sitting there taunting me calling to me. So I am going to see if I can find the guy who has it and take it of his hands. Its in ruff shape (body work looks good but thats it) and it be a lot of work i mean lots and lots of work, but I think it be worth it. Now the hard part yes I could go the rotard way but I thinking dropping a KLZE out of a mx-6 would be a bit more fun

So... you guys thing it be worth it?

Good news is he has 4 of them! I just saw the one. He has one that is fully restored the second one (the one I saw) body is dent less and he said its almost mechanically just as good as the fully restored one but its just looks bad, but the interior is almost gutted all the way. The other two are at a different building so I did not get look at them, but he said that he all the parts needed to get any of the other 3 running, And he said I can pay for the parts as I need them so yep I think I am going to be doing so cheating... even if that might be selling the 7.

Are you talking about the Opel or the Rex. This quote works for both of them.

I think I will, even if I have to sell the 7 with in the years because of it. There are a lot more 7 I can get later on, not so much with the GT's. And I think the GT will be alot more fun to have any way.

The Opel is going going to cost more right now just because of what I have to do it get it running, But to get it how I want it for HP and feel its going to be alot cheaper then the 7 would be. But no matter what both are money pits.

The only thing is what transmission to use? I was thinking a 6 speed from a RX8 or MX5... I want a 6 speed but I bet I am going to have to settle for some 5 speed. I want the HP to be sitting between 200-250, so I think I should be just fine with the 8 or 5 trans.

I hope to have the car with in the next 2 weeks, I will post pic's of the new pit if I can remember to
