OR Hostile Rotary Takeover of PIR

Okay, everyone is tired of the Honda's at PIR on Friday and Saturday nights. It's time for a hostile takeover of Mazda's. We have 10 different rotaries showing up so far for Saturday night drags on the 16th. I'm bringing out my RX3 to race and scaring the Honda boys. Anyone else that wants to show your support of your rotary power please, by all means, come out and enjoy making them nervous!

I'll see you there Saturday, need to borrow drag radials. car won't be setup for drags, but it would be interesting to see what it can do at it's current state.

I'd love to go down for some road racing.... but, not too much into the drags. Maybe if I had an old muscle car, or something that was made for 1/4 mile drags. The RX loves the curves though.

Anyone know if I have to have a battery kill switch in the back when the batter is relocated to the back to pass the inspection? Or just tie downs? See you there tonight! Rotary Powa!

Good to see some fellow rotaries tearing it up. I wasn't as fast as I thought I would be, but it ran great and didn't blow up on my tune...

Here's a vid of 2 of my runs.

Stock Boost ~7.5psi, Hybrid Turbo T04b, Rtek 2.1...

ANSWER IS YES YOU NEED A REAR BATTERY KILL SWITCH! And you have to wear pants too! I had to rent sweats for $1... gey.

Looks like you could shave almost half a second off your times with just some practice launching. You should be down near 1.9 60ft's on street tires. Picking up time out of the hole really increases your time. With 99mph trap speeds you theoretically could be running 14.00

No, you just have a lazy inspector. You need a kill switch, not only for drags, but your own safety.

$8 to watch, $25 to race. Inspector said "if the battery is not in the stock location you must have a battery cut switch at the rear of the car". My battery enclosed is in the bin behind the passenger seat and tied down.

I did manage to win every race. teh 7 cant' lose...
