help me figure out camber
 

ok so i was looking at camber kits for the rear of the fc. i came across RB, MT, JIC, SUPERNOW kits. while i was looking at them i understand how they work i just dont get where they go on your car. can anybody help me out with. anybody have any pics of their camber kits?

if you have a mazdaspeed account you should just get theirs. I use it and love it. Was pretty cheap also.

dont use a center adjuster if you're lowering and more than like an inch. it screws up your pinion angle, and the camber wont be even on both sides.
keep the stock center bar and get a pair of individual adjusters.

i see well i will be lowering the car i think 2-3 inches depending on how it looks/handdles. any pics? of it on the car.

^ indiv. adjusters for sure. the center bar is a bandaid, and at ~100, not really worth it.
they replace the little 3" dogbones on the front/inside arms of the trailing arms. look under there, and its pretty obvious.
theres only one way they fit, so dont worry too much about that. it would take work to install them wrong..

i thought the "dog bones" were the sway bar endlinks. ether way tommor will be a big day for me dtss elim, putting on CO's, adjusting/tune suspension. so i have my work cut out for me tommor. well one question i do have is can you have both types of camberkits the "BAR" and the indi adjs? just seems like with both you have alot of room to play around with to get the set camber you are looking for. but that is just me.

theres no need for the center bar if you have the indiv adjusters. they have plenty of adjustability. if you lower the car so far that you can no longer get camber in spec, then consider the center bar. otherwise its a waste of money.
the only real benefit to a center bar is adjusting pinion angle, which can reduce drivetrain vibration. but that only really applies to people with non-mazda drivetrains

pardon my ignorance, but doesnt a multilink setup automatically correct for a ton of camber?

I was always under the impression that this was one of the major benefits of multilink and double wishbone suspension setups, and that the major things that are needed to be worried about are toe angles and caster angles.

the multi link adds a bunch of camber as it compresses.
this means you can get away with much less static camber.
however, if you lower your car, you just added a bunch of camber unnecessarily, so it must be taken out.

wow ok so my car is a bit lower then stock maybe an inch and i have yet to see any camber from my wheels kinda crazy but i am still tuning my suspension
