Food Meets
We need some low key north end-ish meets... @ some good food places, here's a few ideas:
Time Out Burger (Greek) in Mountlake Terrace: Small but their foods kicks ALL ass! T&T Seafood (Asian) in Edmonds: Big, annnnd seems to be verrrrry popular w/asians (always a good sign), its PACKED on the weekends for their Dim Sum which is soOooO good and awesomely priced!! BUT, the parking SUUUUUCKS!! (@ least when its busy on the wknds, lol) Bobby's Hawaiian in Everett: Small places but their Mochiko Chicken will make your eyes roll back!! Gelato-icious in Everett: tasty-tasty-TASTY Italian style ice cream, SOO GOOD!! Wasabi Bay in Mill Creek: AWESOME SUSHI! KATSU BURGER(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) in South Seattle (Georgetown): AMAAAAAZZZZZZINGG!!!! My absolute ALL TIME favorite burger place so far!!!! I'm going into a food coma as I write this!!!!! *eyes roll back in head* Krispy Kreme in Aurora: Awesome donuts, DUH... open 24hrs? + they're half off after 9pm... (not as fresh, but w/e!) Dick's Burgers in Edmonds: C'mon we all know & LOVE DICK's!! LOL Ray's Burgers in N. Everett: Good classic burgers & shakes Burger Madness in Monroe and South Seattle: Good burgers/shakes + you can stack the burgers as high as you want!! CHALLENGE ACCEPTED?! Burgermaster in Everett and Mill Creek: Good burger/shakes + last time I checked the one in Mill Creek is old school drive-in style! The Grilled Crab & Swiss sandwich is UNBEATABLE!! Any of the Kaiten (conveyor belt style) Sushi places...not tip top quality, but w/e, sometimes you just wanna STUFF YOUR FACE w/TASTY FOODS!! Lanna Thai in Everett: Awesome Thai food, some really good duck dishes!! |
Some really great places listed. Only problem is that north end meets have not been very successful the past 3 or 4 years, as you can see form the lack of response to your thread. Usually north enders have to make the journey down the Federal Way for their monthly meet. Although, Tim did host an event at his place last summer that turned out well.
Best thing to do is just take initiative and set up a location/date and see what happens. I no longer have an RX7 but would be down to go and bring the Evo, assuming work doesn't get in the way. |
you can always go to the importmeet.com meets, they do them way up north but also try and do them farther south to include everyone.
