We had a customer ask about this brand, in fact a local seller has one too. After much research, I decided to find a ACT. Either people had really good luck or they were absolutely trash. I cant take that risk for a customer.

thanks for the info... i already ordered it because i feel kinda ripped off by racing beat, so i guess ill be the guinea pig for this clutch setup... im going to beat the absolute snot out of this clutch so when it dies or i feel its worth it ill repost on here and let everyone know.

Friend of mine just installed a Stage 2 F1 clutch in his S5 6 port turbo. He says it bits well. Only been 2 weeks though so we'll see.
I took a look at it before he installed it and it looked well built.
I guess if you were looking for a performance clutch on a budget this would be the way to go. :)

cool man thanks... its not that i need a performance clutch, its that i beat the snot out of my cars and i can manage to blow up a stock clutch on a stock neon...so i wanted something that can take what im going to dish out ...

My friend had this in his 88 GTU Streep port. It slipped and Felt really weak when i drove it. it engaged realllllyy close to the floor and felt extrmemly mushy

well i have access to a very well known and respected friction supply place, and i have to have the flywheel recleaned anyways, so ill probably take the clutch setup down to them to have them check it out once it gets here.

Good! I don't know if the clutch was installed improperly. I did not like it though. It Felt really low quality.

Please give us a review when it gets in because it is pretty inexpensive.

I had an ACT pressure plate with the f1 stage 3 disc on my 87 turbo and ran it for about 10,000 miles never gave me any problems, I sold the car and is still running fine.
