Not turning this into abuild thread, but I had some interesting news from Japan last night.

Sounds like little birdy was able to track down a JC Cosmo clip for me on the (semi) cheap,
you guys know what that means, bwahahaha!!!

From the sounds of it, the clips been sitting for SEVERAL years doing what forgotten clips
do, rusting.... hoping the internals are ok =)

Update: Still waiting, I guess the S5 clips that my buddy has were held at the port,
he called me the other day and wanted to see if I wanted to ship it up now (the GT-X)
I told him to just hold on to it, I know its not going anywhere and I'd rather ship it
running than as a roller =/ My g/f's pissed enough i got an RX-7 after "swearing" I
wouldn't, if I bring home a NON running one, she'll lose her ****, lol (She hates these
btw hahaha)

We decided to wait another week or two to see if the docks release stuff, and if not ill
ship it as a roller


Yeah Chad I will seriously take whatever space I can, you didn't see but not only is it
tiny, we have two pitbulls and a beagle in there next to our Maxima, 0 space, it would
be sitting in the rain =(

Sorry for the LOOOONNNGGGG leu in updates, car is still in California, but
I've been able to get some Magic working while its been down there, looks
like it is possibly in line for a free re-spray in deep red, as well as getting a
new heart. While we've been waiting on the engines (my 13BT) to get off
the docks and released from bond, I've been able to talk the shop owner
into layingin a C series 20B that has he's been keeping in the shop. Used
engine at probably 105km, will need to visit Atkins when I'm up here for
a teardown and a twin to single conversion...

BUT... man.... I love what this guy is doing with my current/his old car, I
almost don't want it to come home the way its getting pampered...

Evidently the engine is in it being test fitted atm, I'm trying to pin him down
to snap a few photos, but he's been busy with his brand new baby daughter.

And shameless bump for the shop, if you guys are ever in Gardena, stop in
and get some stuff from my guy Juan at Moshi Moshi Motors
