I'll be there with the Fiero running in Street Tire. Hopefully all parts will stay intact during my runs this time.

^ nice meeting you today at the practice, i had to leave early to go to work... drat. Someone should post up the best times... im interested to see who got faster.... when I left, hollywood ( zo6) was at a 40.xx and Dan ( Rs4) was a 41.somthin. Too bad you didnt come ben, bet you could have ridden a ton in that.. maybe he would have let you drive it... ? My best time of the day was a 46.57
|
probly not.
i probly would have ended up sitting around for most of the day....and autox/pics dosen't pay the bills or fix my car soooo passing was the logical choice unfortunatly |
I was thinking of coming and bringing our new WRX wagon.... hahah. Just for fun, and getting a feel for the car. Not a good idea to push it to it's limits on street roads...
|
^ sure it is! : )
|
Monday was a blast! I managed to squeeze a 44.4 out of the Fiero in the AM, and in the PM they reversed the track and made the last section very fast. I was approaching 75mph with only 93hp, so I can only imagine how fast the vette was going. We also did fun runs at the ends. Can't wait for this weekend.
|
SWEET! 44 is awesome. I cant wait for sunday too, except its going to be a buzzkill to get in only 3 or 4 runs after that practice day ! grrrr....
|
See you all there!
|
Hey Racers,
would someone please bring a time light for me to use for a minute if you have one? Mine just died. Thanks ~ JEB |
Have it taken care of, thanks ~ JEB

Wow, what a great day of racing!
Adrian, thanks for taking care of my timing issue. Dave, good to see you out! Met the new guy in town, Tyler, nice guy with a very nice white third gen. Chris, Michelle, others, thanks for your hard work. What a great event! |
Pretty awesome day today, too bad I didn't have the power for the course. I found it funny that last week I saw that white FD on the main page and thought, "man, that is pretty much exactly how I want my FD to look," and then poof it shows up at autocross. Managed to squeeze a 55.2 on my last run, but I think I might have been able to shave off a couple tenths.
|
Awesome to see the Rotus out on the track today... that vehicle looked so cool in action.
Tyler... glad to meet you! Awesome driving out there today! And niiice FD! Dave... next time, pay the bridge toll... yeah i saw you! j/k |
Great to see you all. Really fun day!!
JEB, love the Rotus and wood dash and console is gorgeous. Jeremy and Grae, thanks for working in the timing trailer and Jer for the pickup help. Chris, thanks for letting me take your car for a lap or two. David - your car sounded sick coming across the finish gates. Tyler - I don't think I met you, but next time. Ben, I didn't know you have an rx-7 too. I finally hit my 53.3xx in fun runs (of course). I'll be getting new tires before the next event :) |
Awesome day! I had a blast at this event, and found everyone to be really welcoming and friendly... just a great experience all the way around, and I can't wait for the next one!
It was great to meet some of the NW rotorheads... Dave, Jeremy, Grae, Adrian and Jeb with his insane Rotus! I'm disappointed I couldn't meet all of you, so definitely next time! A couple of pics... My car looks like its about ready to do some car crushing at the T dome...
Adrian and Chris thanks a ton for the drives, made the day worth while after sucking it up in SC and then my car falling apart in the afternoon. |
