Aluminum Welders (In need of a good shop)
Hey guys I'm looking to see if anyone has any referrals for a great aluminum welder. I'm in need of a small bit of welding of a flange onto some IC piping and I'm unaware of any places in Sno County that do excellent work. The last shop I used did steel to steel for me and lets just say the weld looked like sh*t and the pipe was burnt badly. SO with that being said I would like a Snohomish County aluminum welder that does excellent work at a reasonable price.

Tim, there is a place in Redmond, by Willows that do a really good welding. He did all the welding for my intercooler pipe. If you want to drive by Redmond, you may be able to get it done.
Did you drive by Kirkland on Wed, 07/08? I think I saw your FD. |
What's the name of the place in Redmond? I'll probably need their services pretty soon.

i have tig'rs at work that do all my stuff
|
theres a great shop just outside of bonney lake idk if thats a little far for you or not.
|
That's too far for one flange. I'd like something in Sno County
|
I figure you were going to Stage.
The guy that I used was the person that Stage refered me to. Larry at Sta-Weld. Look it up on Google, and you will find the address and ph#. He weld my last intercooler pipe, did a good job, really cheap, and fast too. He did it while I wait, about 5 min. |
Probably the same guy they used for e last time, so I'm not interested. He did a terrible job.
|
I can, but I'm Portland.
|
Bump.
Anyone have any recommendations of welders north of Seattle? |
how far u willin to go
|
Not to bellingham. I'd like so stay within about 30 minutes of where I'm at which would be as far north as Mt Vernon and as far south as North Seattle

I have had a number of things done by him in both aluminum and steel. He always does a really good job with clean tight welds. |
Did you get this done yet tim, Del TACO volvo is coming up.
|
I work for a company that manufactures alm tankers for all the gas companys. all of our welders are extreamly good ie certified in all sorts of ways. it is in kent, but i live in kirkland if you wanted to drop it off with me. I could get it done for you.
|
Just take it to Speedware and have it done right. Remember you get what you pay for.
