2nd gen rx7 stolen!
 

i wake up this morning to find my rx7 gone... it was taken around 6 or 7 am this morning.. in federal way wa . by 21 ave and 320th.... loud ass exhaust magnaflow duals t2 hood. one black t2 mirror and one white one. mirror tint gp body kit. The car is white.. 18 inch msrs 2 inch polish lip.s/5 tails plate is 718 pwt. if any one sees it follow them and call me 206-391-6439 or the cops i filed police report this morning... thks

how are all these rx7's being stolen? faulty alarm system??

when i locked my keys inside my FC, i had the hardest time trying to get into the car. i F'd up my passenger door seals and even added a couple "dents" on the roof of my car just TRYING to get in... i ended up having to call "triple A", and they got the keys out in a flash with a slim...

so i'm just wondering what it would take for a car to get stolen... they break in and jump the ignition wires (straight movie styles) or what??

anywho, i hope you catch the son of a byotch and strangle him :D

I dont think they ever worked right from the factory.

to many rx7s get stolen. I think its time to disable the fuel pump and have it only come on with your finger print :)

That actually might just be possible.

And it would be a good idea because FC's are so easy to break into.

i figure by now the only guys stealing fc's are other poorer fc owners. just grab a well used fc key and hey you can get into other fc's and probably start them. the key from an 87se i had still works just as well with my 91 vert...

damn I didn't know people still knew what these were enough to steal one. Now I'm all paranoid. I hope you find it still in one piece, good luck that sucks major.

First of all let me say I feel you pain and I'm sorry you are going through this. I had my 86 stolen in Phoenix and went without a car for 2 1/2 years when I bought my 87.

My question is what kind of alarm system did you have? I put an aftermarket system on mine after it was broke into last September. I have had some problems with it like the damn thing going off as I drive down the road because I accidently turned on the auto set function. Talk about feeling stupid! That's when I crank the stereo and don't look at anybody because I can't get it to turn off.

I truly hope your car is found and found quickly. I live in the Bellevue/Renton area and will keep an eye out for you.

i think who ever took it was eyein it for a while... but i havent seen any suspicious cars around.. but i think when the cops find it its gonna be completly stripped i had atleast 7 thousand in receipts... i t had a new motor install about 1 year ago. I had a aftermarket alarm but was going off when i tryed to arm it so i was just using the stock one.. I do have full coverage on that car though plus i always got my vert its an 88 too... all stock

ya i think they gotta be pros or something.... my car is gone for 1 day now.. just be on the look out , if u guys come across a stripped fc let me know thats what u guys should be on the look out for .you wont see my car driving around town, but u will see parts of my car on other fc's maybe like mismathced body panels .. man i had everything on that car dvd player system and i always took the precaution of turning everything off when i got into the complex, it just pisses me off..i never advertised my shitt.

you should check around on some different fourms and classifieds for your same parts off your car incase the theives try to part it

My X girlfrind had her car stolen buy a gang. The police said they steal the car and strip it, then when it goes to the insurance auto auction they buy it back for like $200-$300.00 (free and clear title) and put the parts back on and sell it! I have seen those guys ( 4 or 5 ) at the auction sitting on a nice car that has ben lovingly striped to the bone. If you get to close to the car they get real nasty and stand in your way giving you the evil eye!!! Why the cops cant do somthing is beyond me!
So if it turnes up striped, buy it back. At least they cant sell it.
I have a membership there, so if this hapens to be the case, let me know and you can get in as my guest and i will buy it back for you!

My car is worth more than 4 grand . but let me know what auction this is...., Hey spedrated what should i expect to get for the car from insurance claim. I added all receipt's up, the stuff that was on the car and came up with a preety healthy number. I had a friend who had his civic vandleized and got around 9 g's back ...

I did this morning checked craigs, and v bulliten i will check ebay tonight...saw nothing of my car parts..

this might not help really sence it is different then gettin a car stolen but when i got in my accident with a bone stock 87 FC i got a good 2,700 back from insurnace so im pretty sure if you have the reciepts you will get a alot of your money back if not most of it.?
