Got this about a month ago.

Pro - price, weight, well made, variable speed, LED light
Con - really not a required work tool but a real time saver

I dont have air so I was looking for one of these for awhile. Finally got it online, $149. Came with the bag, charger and battery.

Out of the box it felt well made. The variable speed trigger works well and it can get into places a normal ratchet can not. It puts out 35ft/lb of torque so it breaks loose most bolts but for the tighter ones you can crack them first with a wrench. There is a LED work light that comes on when you pull the trigger. The body is metal with the red rubber overlay so its strong enough and it has a battery fuel gauge and a lock out.

I've used it mostly on the RX. Did my oil pan/motor mount change out. Went through all the small 10mm bolts in a flash. Also worked a couple of bicycles and it broke open all the bolts easily. Since its a true impact tool it has lots of power for its size.

I did eventually purchase a set of impact sockets and 3/8 drive screw drivers and allen heads. So I have almost everything covered.

I would recommend this tool to anyone who doesn't have an air compressor and wants to get things done faster than with normal hand tools.

I have one of these too.

Only thing I wished that the RPM was faster. It is quite strong as you mentioned. You can also use it to break bolts first then ratchet if off.

I would recommend the 12v impact wrench, works a lot faster (I have a 1/4 hex impact gun) works wonders.

You should wait for Milwaukee to have those buy a tool set get a free item. So far I got XC battery, right angle drill and a hackzall for free

Yeah, f you want to be able to break bolts loose, you need an impact wrench, not a ratchet... Milwaukee makes one, and it'll break most 10 and 12mm bolts on the car loose... with the bigger/higher torque stuff, you make need a regular impact gun, like you'd use on lug nuts. I got the 3/8, 18v version, and I love it so far.

I got the 18v version too..only thing it is bulky because of the Battery..But it is practical and tough..(60 psi torque I think?).

I have the Milwaukee M18 impact driver that uses 1/4" hex bits. With the hex to square 1/4, 3/8, & 1/2" socket drives, it is my favorite tool I own. It's rated at 1500 in-lb (125 lb-ft) and will take lug nuts off of most cars. It torque my RX7 wheels down to 80lb-ft and it rips them off no problem. The wheel bolts are a little more difficult but I think that's because they're more prone to corrosion. I think I paid $170 for the impact, M18 drill, 2 batteries and a charger. I only ever use a ratchet for things that are too cumbersome to fit the impact and for final torquing of fasteners. Makes dirty work so much faster.

^THIS I got a m18 also, I LOVE that thing. I use it at work all the time....well...not much now because its slow so I'm not using it as much. But when I use it, It cuts so much time its unreal. Everyone at work watches me with is and is amazed. I got 2 of the XC3.0 batteries for it for free, holy hell, I swear the in. lbs. shot up

I love my Milwaukee 18v, waiting for them to try and catch up to dewalt though and do a 20v or higher
