worried about potential problems!

Greetings all rotary Gurus!

I have recently become a proud ower of a 87 13b non turbo with 88k on rebuilt motor..
I read up as much as could in thr inroduction section so I hope my questions are not too problematic.
1- on a cold start I know its suppose to rev 3k for 20 sec then gradually drop.. it did it once then stopped doing it. Granted I only had a cold start 3times. So the other two times I had to manually warm up the car to the 3k mak but the 1.5k mark was fine and went back to idle.. could this issue still the bac valve?
2- after warm up if I turn head lights on the car drops in rpm slightly and when idle steping on the brake.. but only really slightly. Idle asl plays alil but not all the time.

I guess my main concern is that could this be major prblematic.?
My know how of rotary is limted. I have been pretty good with pisons on my integra b16 vtec but I have heard that rotary is really sensitive about upkeep and so on.. I'm eager to learn this new form of mechanis ..(well new to me) any help would be appriciated.. thanks!

Don't worry so much about the 3K startup. It was a bad idea from the start.

If you really want to get it working, there is a temp switch on the bottom driver side of the radiator. Check and test it according to the FSM, and check the ASV valve as well.

The idle dip could just be due to a sluggish BAC valve. Pull it off, give it a good cleaning with carb cleaner, and test according to the FSM.
