what kind of wheels set up should I get??

Im going to be shopping soon when I get my taxs, I searched around and found these wheels

There Varstoen TE Replicas- Black 18x9.5 18x10.5 with 225-40 and 245-40 tires
http:// <a href="http://s1375.photob...wbj.jpg"/></a>

And my other choice are these bbs lm edition same size.
http:// <a href="http://s1375.photob...44h.jpg"/></a>

I was told the varstoens crack easily and I should just get the miro's but not to sure and I also like the bbs wheels, im looking for a real aggressive look. I want to feel confident when I hit a corner or a those big circle loops when changing freeways. As for the tires they would be some Bridgestone potenzas.

I wanted your guys opinion if I should go wide wheels with only rolling the fenders and not having to go wide body, let me know what you think.

Thanks

For some reason my pictures not showing up, might be my photo bucket app..

That would be my guess judging by the URL.

I can't see your pictures either, but I don't really need to in order to weigh in. Varrstoen and Miro aren't gonna be too far apart, price or quality wise. They should hold up ok to most street driving. With the sizes you're looking at, you'll have to be careful about hitting potholes and debris, but that's the case with any wheel. Also you're gonna catch grief for having "fake wheels." Whatever... I have RH wheels on my GTI that bent pretty easily when my stepdad hit a pothole at 60mph, that's just part of having less tire (ps, those are 16x8). The BBS LM's are a different ballpark price wise, and they're about the best in the business.

As for fitment, do your research around here and the Stance communities to see what you can make work. I know there's a thread around where a guy made some z32 flares work on his FC, so that might be another option for you...

Both Varrstoen and Miro are decent wheel manufactures, just don't run stretch tire fitment and you should be fine. Believe it or not "name brand wheel manufacturers" wheels crack it just depends on each specific situation.

I have volk te37's on my Audi A3 on stretch tires and -3.0 camber and one of the wheels cracked on the inner barrel.

So don't listen to what you friends say, get whatever wheel you think looks the best.

yeah that's what i was thinking my friend has 10.5 front and 11.5 rear his tires are not really stretched but since he went wider he hasn't cracked his barrels compared to before. stretching the tires looks cool but makes the rear end loose traction a lot more easier

im currently looking for wheels but no luck on my setup

Varstoen te reps

Bbs lm reps

I personally like both equally.. for the varstoens I like the aggressive appearance it gives (matt black), and the style of the bbs's (white base). Only thing about the bbs's I would have to make them alot more staggered...
