What kind of Fuel Injectors should i get?
On RX7store.net I was looking for some new injectors. Im not looking to upgrade, just replace the ones i have on them right now. I have a 1993 RX7 FD. Should i get the top feed or the side feed? If upgrades matter here is what i have

How much boost do you plan on running? What standalone/EMS do you plan on using? Running sequential or non-sequential twins?
Many people (including me) run 1300cc secondary injectors. Its sufficient fuel for ~350 rwhp on twins and a street ported motor. The 1300cc injectors are bored out stock 850cc secondary injectors. RCEng.com does the conversion. |
if your going to replace them, you might aswel upgrade. anyway you would need side feed injectors unless you meant you have an aftermaket intake manifold when you said intake.

Define upgrade? All he needs to do is have enough fuel for whatever air flow and boost his motor is making. Anything else is mostly eye candy or bragging rights. Check out the various threads on fuel systems in the FAQ: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/ |

at any rate, i think you should only upgrade injectors if you think there's a strong chance you'll be tampering with the car more than the basic upgrades that you already sport - and even then, upgrade appropriately. i see too many people take the sledgehammer approach to this when all they need is fly-swatter. |
Yeah im just going to replace the seals on them, because that's the problem i have, i have a major fuel leak, i just didnt know wheter or not to get side feed or top feed.
