Weber DCOE Help!!!
I just bought an ebay fresh Weber 45 DCOE and I'm getting ready to install it in my '81 GSL (12A). The problem I'm running into is that the Weber appears to only have a fuel inlet and no return. Since the carb pump is relatively low pressure do I need a pressure regulator? Is there a way to plumb a return into the Weber? I know this is a popular swap, so I doubt I'm the 1st person to have this problem.
Also, if anyone has a link to a how-to on this swap I'd appreciate that too. |
Webers prefer high volume low pressure, theyre happiest at 2.5-3psi. Ideally you can run a returnless style regulator inline to the carb, the stock 12a's fuel pump doesnt push much fuel pressure at all, so using a returnless system will be fine.

Maybe a return off the regulator you'll buy.......
