webber side draft

I have a side draft Webber with 45jets in it will it be strong enough if I were to bridge port the 12A and can I change the jets on it

From what I have read and understand 45 should be sufficient on a bridge, heard of 48 being used and it was more than enough so I think 45 would be ok. I could be wrong though and hope someone with more experience in carbs can chime in :icon16:

Thanks for the information
Is there a schismatic of all breather hoses that need to be booked up when you swap the Nikkei for a side draft Webber application. Thanks for the information.

on the racing beat website, there is a technical section giving you advice about which carb to use depending on your application. i have a street port 12a to the limit. im planning on getting a 48ida weber for my car.

What type of performance are you looking for with this setup or is it for nostalgic reasons? What type of driving will you mainly be doing? I've looked into a similar setup as well for road racing. The major drawback for m was the engines life expectancy.
