Take your pick or take Aaron's advice. Hope that helped

I believe he is looking for the turbo inlet duct. Not a replacement throttle body elbow. Aaron is correct though. Corksport is probably your best option.

Corksport TID

ebay ftw

yea your right its the inlet duct not the throttle body elbow...i know u can get one on corksport that is a direct replacement to the stock one...can u just put a piece of piping straight onto the turbo intake and then connect the air sensor to that with a pod on the end? what are the other pipes that are comming off the stock plastic pipe?...pics would be awsome :) sorry if theese are stupid questions, this is my first rotary and im not super fimmiliar with them and what u can take off and still have ur car run smooth...

You can make your own with tubing and couplers. Off hand, you'll need to add nipples for the crankcase vent port and the BOV dump.

Make one. Cheap 45º pipe can be bought on ebay (just look for ricer Honda intake kits), and it can be modified for your purposes. I used a 13/16" piece of aluminum for the BOV/Bypass Valve connection, and a 1/4" NPT fitting for the PCV system hook up. A 3" to 2.5" coupler will connect to the turbo inlet (inlet is actually 2 3/8" OD), and a simple 3" coupler will work for the AFM end.

thanks guys! also rotaryrocket ...also what is connected to the standard pipe? im new to rotarys and turbos lol. umm also on ur pic what is the small round silver looking thing at the bottom right of ur enginebay pic (it is connected to the intake pipe...is it the wastegate??? srry if it sounds like a stupid question. and should i keep all of those pipes connected if i use an aftermarket pipe, or can i disconnect stuff?

RotaryRocket88 03-10-11 05:30 PM

On an S4, there are only the 2 connections I mentioned: BOV/bypass valve and the PCV recirculation line. In my picture, the silver thing you're talking about is the stock BOV, and the PCV line is the red hose with a silver check valve in the middle.

what intake pipe did you use? i love your setup and want to try n get the same pipe u have...or did u mod it urself for the xtra pipes connected to it??...also love the clean setup u have is ur engine painted? of did u just clean the hell out of it and if so how would i go abt it...cheers :)

RotaryRocket88 03-10-11 11:08 PM

It's nothing pre-made. I had to cut down the ricer pipe, chop off things I didn't need, drill holes for my connections, and have a piece of pipe welded on for the BOV hose.

The engine was stripped down/cleaned/painted before being swapped into my car.

lukepritchard86 03-10-11 11:09 PM

ohh sweet man thanks, ive got an aftermarket bov that is attached to the pipe that comes off the stock top mount intercooler (there has been an extra intake welded on). so i should be able to get rid of the stock bov as pictured in ur photo yea?

..like i said im new to rotarys and turbo and im just tryin to figure out what the previous owner has done with the engine and clean it up a little.
