Well let's start off saying I've been messing with this car for months now. Finally got it almost done. Here's my issue. Car starts up but at around 3k rpm it starts to break up. I've replaced the tps connector but not the tps itself. What could be wrong? Tps? Boost sensor? Car is an 87 t2. Anymore info you need please let me know. Need help!

when it breaks up at 3k is it while driving or stationary?

Haven't really got to drive it much. It does it while stationary or driving.

Have you set the TPS per the factory service manual, and have you done a resistance sweep test on the TPS to ensure it doesn't jump/have dead spots?

Yes I've done both. Fuel and spark is fine. Swapped the ecu back to factory just in case. Just seems to cut up around 3k.
