Throttle Body Mod '85 GSL-SE
Recently purchased a v. nice all stock 85 GSL-SE w/ 76k miles - super condition.
I've been reading all over about the throttle body modification [TB Mod]. Seems it consists of two parts: first, rerouting a hot water hose that normally feeds hot water to the TB and second, removing the (secondary?) butterflies in the TB. Can someone explain what problem these modifications are designed to 'fix' and general comments on whether this is a good idea or not? |

I've heard arguments for and against, but unless you live in a cold climate, I'd delete it entirely. I've done both mods and 0 issues. Plenty of guides out there on how to do it. |
Thanks, OG BFF! I live in Florida so cold weather is a non-issue.
