well this is my first post guys, I have an 84' gsl with a ford 5.0 swapped in and it currently has full re-speed stuff minus the sway bars.

I am pissed now because I can't adjust spring rates like I wanted too because re-speed is gone. I feel like my whole setup is now obsolete is really really annoying. Anyway.

Does anyone know if the T3 front coilovers fit with the respeed camber plates? Or do you need the t3 camber plates? The thing I really like about the t3 coils is that they are powered by Koni's--which are by far the best shock on the market. I also like the idea of running Koni "yellows"--sport rear shocks from a mustang. Those would be perfect as long as the rear-end/un-sprung weight is similar so that the compression settings of the single adjustable shocks will be good. I don't see any reason it would be off, the rear ends are very similar.

Isnt Mustang`s mutch heavier then a fb? I would think that the weigth difference will make the fb mutch to stiff. offcourse with a v8, weight distrobution suffers anyway.
So the rear have no weight anyway.

How does a car like that actualy drive? can you spin the tyres in 4th and 5th gear?

Those are standard sized springs on there, and you can find them in any spring rate you would care to run at just about any race shop. Try Summit first. If you need to know the size (rather than measuring them) try getting a hold of Billy Waits on this forum.

Ok cool. thats good to know. btw does anyone know how to re-grease wheel bearings? both of mine have lots of play in them and a shop wants a couple hundred to do it. I also need to replace a tie-rod assembly or something like that.

Apollogies if it sounded like i was moking your v8 rx-7. I was not.
Just being curious. since i jused to track race i`ve experienced cars with heavy front to be nervous. 1trick that i learned is that if the car would be lowered about an inch in the back youl be amazed how mutch weight transfers to the rear.
