Stripping paint from assembled engine

1 Attachment(s)
Need some ideas on stripping this shitty paint off my short block.

I bought a angle grinder and several different thicknesses of wire wheels, but it's not coming off easily. I'm hesitant to use paint stripper because I don't want to compromise the sealant in the block.

Any one done this before, or am I nuts to think I can do it in one piece?

get this stuff
3M Automotive, Marine & Aerospace : Mar-Hyde® Tal-Strip® II Aircraft Coating Remover, 3713, 1 Gallon (US) Can, 4 per case, Obsolete

brush on,watch paint go GAGA..and Wipe off.

It's real Fast and "deadly without a mask".

It wont be deadly to the seals between the housings?

If it gets to them then the engine was no good in the first place.

Besides, you just have to "paint it on" and honestly as soon as you see what it does,Boom..wipe off.
It's like a thick gel..
I did a WHOLE hood in like 20 minutes with this stuff.

Go to the "other rotary car Forum" and take a peek at the thread called: Self Vented Hood with GT500 Hood Vent

There is a nice blue hood with a case of leprosy..THAT is how it looks when the paint lifts!
