if u have the type of suspension i think u have, curvy mountain roads is the only way u'll be able to tell a difference, if any.

Considering that the suspension is 22 years old may play a factor in why it doesn't do anything!
When it wears out most Guys just opt for an adjustable shock like the KYB-AGX,or go with coilovers.
The electronics are removed as they only work for the stock system.(take off actuator at shock, done).
But as mentioned above, take the car out on a curvy road and see if it operates before doing anything mechanical.

I have good condition aas suspension if ya want working ones, I have the cpu and brake sensor too. the cpu is kinda exposed and ive seen a few go bad, its mounetd kinda under the rear bumper. The brake sensor is for anti dive under hard braking. Its mounted under the brake master cyl. PM me if ya want anything

I'm sorry to disagree, but this system should be more noticeable around town where the roads are bumpy and uneven - NOT a curvy mountain road.

Inspect to see that everything is plugged in.

If you really want to feel the difference, inflate tire pressures. (35F/32R psi cold should be fine)

Try it around town.
