starting my 1st gen 13 b for the first time questions questions

Hallo Everybody im gonna start up my car for the first time this weekend. i have never heard the engine running before. here is what im planning to do please give me your oppinion on oils and other stuff.

i have fitted a 48 mm ida weber
RB exhaust with manifold.
im running premix

i run a facet red top fuelpump with filterking regulator how much fuel pressure should i get out of it.

How much oil pressure should i get from the banjo bolt on the oil cooler hoose.

I am planning on running castrol 10 60 racing full synthetic motoroil and castrol racing 2 stroke oil 2 %
Evans waterless cooling fluid.
im gonna start it up and tune in the carb to a 4% co2 and let it idle for about an hour.

Now what du you guys think about my oil selection and co2
Is there anything i should be aware of this is my first time starting a rotary engine but my job is mechanic so i hope im up for the task.

what oil do you guys use for the transmission its a trans from a fc.

Last question is there enough oil pressure on a rotary så that i can mount the oilcooler higher than the engine. since the car is for rally i want it away from the bottom off the watercooler

if those are like the Facet pumps i remember from back in the day, i would say don't waste your time with it. Weber IDAs don't require an awful lot of pressure, but you will need good volume. i don't know how easy it is for you guys in Denmark to get the pumps we have here (Carter, Holley, Mallory, etc.) but spec something local to you (if you want to avoid shipping and such) that can give a solid 5 PSI and flow 70+ (i forgot the units for this - maybe gpm???) and you should be fine. i doubt you'll need more than 3 to 4 PSI and you'll have the flow you need with those specs.

i'm not sure what you're asking here, but the stock pump and regulator should provide enough oil pressure and volume. what year and model 13B do you have?

the oil may be overkill in normal conditions, but it should be fine when the weather is temperate to warm. i know Denmark gets ridiculously cold in the winter, so adjust weights to suit your climate if you plan to be running it now. i run 15W40 all year round where i live but it's hot for most of the year here.

what is your tool to measure this? i have no idea what that translates to in AFR or EGT, so i'll let someone else answer this for you.

nothing special needed. all i would say is crank without the plug wires connected until you start getting an oil pressure reading before you actually try to fire it.

use whatever weight your FSM recommends - mineral is good, synthetic is better.

not sure if i would mount it above the engine, but you certainly could raise it or maybe just setup some sort of shielding. you could also consider running a beehive oil cooler as long as you're not running some sort of crazy/radical port setup.

Thank you i really really want 180 hp and a reliable engine.

as for fuelpump i have 8 mm innner diameter fuelline and the pump should do 6,5 psi.

as for the oil im only rallying the car in the summertime so probably it will never se below 12 degrees celcius.

its s 86 13b i believe the oilpressure is messured at the banjobolt (the one that bolts thru te oilhose) on the right rearside of the engine. and i was wondering about how much oilpressure the engine should produce.

I dont know how you guys do it but in euroupe we roughly messure fuel/air mixture but messuring the co % in the exhaust. Off course im gonna get someone to finetune my carburator but just for starting of the engine
