Smog help!!

I bought a 86rx7 with no emission controls on it and I need to pass smog in about 6 months so Im wondering if anyone could help walk me through the process. I have just about nothing but the bare esseantials on right now so any information will help. Mainly I want to know if there is an order to assemblying the emission controls. Its hard to begin to explain everything so sorry if its unclear.

Im not even sure but i know it has its actuators always open, has not cat, needs a new lower intake and then im not sure what else i need one to pass smog. what parts are used when passing smog? i know some of them but not all. thanks for the reply

Air pump, Air control valves, EGR, 2 pre cats, 1 main cat, all the vacuum lines and solenoids need to be in the correct location, everything must be stock.

Honestly, your best bet would be to just take a look under the hood of an S4 FC that is smog legal. Find a friend or another forum member, or go to the junkyard.

Get a factory service manual and just start reading and reading and reading. It would probably be rather difficult to explain to you step by step what to put back on without actually being there with you and the car and knowing exactly everything you have and don't have.

Another route would be to take it to one of the many reputable shops in So-Cal and just have them do it.. sure it will cost some money, but at least you know it will get done right.
