Single turbo sweet/bitter problem

I have read a lot of single turbo conversions and instructions on this forum, but honestly after all I have read I feel more and more confused. So, I am looking for guidance in my conversion as I already have almost all stuff for years. Yes for years but didn't have opportunity to finally "remake" my old racing FD (from 1993). Hope someone will help me and guide me with stuff I have (my car is for racing purposes):

- rebuild engine
- street ported engine
- 2 piece apex seals
- 850 cc injectors on primary and secondary
- single turbo kit made by Pat Kenney or Rosendo Dimas (bought in 2008 with help of my friend who lives in USA and that is the reason why I don't know who made it as from photos they looks same to me)
- Rotary Works RW-KIT-FD-V IC and radiator
- Autronic ECU
- AEM Universal Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
- Banzai block plates
- Racing Beat Spark Plug Wires
- Racing Beat Silicone Radiator Hose Kit
- some other small stuff

Before posting this thread I have tried to contact both guys asking for instructions for their kit but newer received any, tried to PM - no answer. So here I am alone in small country of Croatia trying do make it by myself hoping someone will help me.

Using a single turbo is the best way to go in my opinion . What turbo are you using

My turbo is Turbonetics and that is all I know, here are some photos, hope it can help.

What exactly are you confused about here? Lets start with some questions for you. What type of power do you want to make rwhp goal? What kind of racing are we talking about here. Is the car going to be driven on the street. These kind of questions will better inform us to help you!

I am going to use it only on hillclimb and track. Reliability is what I want as servicing engine after every race is not an option. My direct competitors are Ford Cosworths and EVO 9/10 which runs without restrictors, so we are talking about cars with 450 HP. So, my goal is something similar as RX7 have superior handling.
I want to remove as much as possible of original "rats nest" and that is my main problem.

You're gonna need a whole lot more fuel.

Get some 1600 or 2000cc secondaries and a 340lph fuel pump. If you don't know what you are doing. Find someone who does. Mistakes can be expensive and not worth saying "I did it myself" sometimes. Take it from someone who also lives on a small island :)

This is what I am looking for with this thread and is written in my first mail. :ponder:

Most aftermarket kits are pretty well "figure it out by slapping it in and seeing if it fits".
The Turbo kit looks fairly simple.
The Intercooler kit will be a little challenging depending on where you want the piping.
With these modifications you will need more fuel than 850cc's and you will also need a Good tuning by a reputable and capable tuner.
The car is as reliable as the parts and the guy that tunes it.

Reliabilty is not really a word that is associated with the rotary based vehicle.BUT the tuning will help keep it running.

The turbo looks like a gt35 or similar at about 16 lb boost should make about 370 hp at wheels . What apex seals were used in your rebuild if oem seals I wouldn't go any higher than 15lb boost for safety ,You can use the 850cc primary injectors and get some 1200 to 1500cc injectors for the secondary injectors and you will be fine. You will also need an 044 bosch fuel pump or similar or you will run out of fuel pressure

I used a Real Solution 2 piece apex seals. Yes, turbo kit looks simple almost pure bolt on, and I have seen some post and photos about Rotary Works RW-KIT-FD-V IC and radiator mounting, but I think I will resolve that problem.
Any suggestion which injectors to buy.
What about double throttle, I have seen people running single turbo without double throttle?
