single turbo fd ..boost creep? i need ideas on how to fix this

i am brand new to this site.
a little info.. i have a 93 rx7 single turbo with apexi power fc. i will get some pictures up later . i did a full wire tuck of all the relays and fuse boxes to behind the drivers side seat and the battery is in the trunk as well.

now on to my problem. i believe i have a 12lb spring in my tial wastegate and when i hit 12 lbs i hear it open buttttt then my boost still pushes past that. gains all the way up to 20+ which was when i knew i have a problem somewhere.. i was thinking of doing the vaccume hose job that everyone was talking about to avoid any leaks or cracked lines so i went and bought a kit just to find out that when i took off my upper intake manifold... there were absolutly no vacuume lines under there..... my objective now is to pressure test some of the lines to see if theres something im just not seeing.

Does anyone know the best or most reccomended way to run the wastegate vacuume hoses and where at on the upper intake manifold they should go?

any feedback would be appreciated thanks.

A wastegate line usually connects to a port right on the compressor housing. Example: the brass fitting I added to my turbo below. Most OEM and aftermarket housings will already have a port in this general area.

If you're sure you have a 12 psi spring, the wastegate actuator is hooked up, and boost is still creeping, you need a larger wastegate.

^What he said. Or put some restriction/backpressure in the exhaust.

i have a gt35r and it doesnt have that port . my wastegate is currently hooked up to a spot on the upper intake manifold just behind the throttle body. i have been reading that it needs to get the vacuum from before the throttlebody is that possibly my problem?

Do you have.1 or 2 wastegates. Brand and size? And what manifold

i have one wastegate and its a tial . i believe its a 38mm im not sure tho. i just pulled off the wastegate to test it . i have yet to get around to testing it due to a stupid work scedual.

i found out my problem.. i tested my wastegate and it did in fact open at 12 psi so i decided to put the boost controler between my compressor and the wastegate.. well at the 12 lb setting on the controler it took 50lbs to start opening my wastegate.. so i had a bad or blocked boost controler ,... i bypassed it and just ran no controler and i havent had any problems since.
