S5 tranny on s4 motor ?
 
Hey so I was wondering if it's possible to use a s5 turbo tranny on. S4 turbo motor ?

Yes you can,BUT you need the trans mount Cross member that comes with the S5 Trans.
They s4 and s5 are slightly different(as the tranmissions are slightly different)but they do however still bolt to the car the same.
Oh you will have to figure out sensor wiring as the connectors differ too.

some s4 engines also have a brass/bronze spigot bearing in the end of the crankshaft, which doesn't fit the S5 shaft - will need the S5 needle bearing.

If you put in another Trans,the best suggestion is to change all bearings associated with that area anyways,
So a OEM pilot bearing is 18 bucks...give or take.
Throw out from Mazda about 60 bucks.
