s5 to s4 fog light install. yes, I searched
 

Ok, before the the flame war begins, I hardly post things unless I am stumped and not stated in the FSM or archived on here.

My car is an 88 base s4, I picked up everything from an s5 TII appearance wise cause I got a good deal, and my s4 was free. I swapped over the entire front clip over the weekend minus hood ( still looking for that): fenders, bumper, front bash bar with fog lights/brackets ect ect. I even modified my s4 brake venting to fit snugly and be functional.

Now, I was graced with getting the fog lights in tact, with the harness, connecting pig tail w/8 inches of wire (red black I believe) and the OEM interior switch to operate them. However it is not the full harness.

Here is my dilemma, I can't figure out the wiring if I was to say..... get a pigtail for the switch and hook it up "factory". I know I can head down to the parts store and get a generic install kit, but If I can use the oem switch why the hell not.

My first thought is 1 wire on the switch is a ground, and the other 2 for power?

If anyone has done this "non-ghetto" your advice would be appreciated.
