S4 to S5 body conversion

Hello everyone, bit of a lurker from Germany here.
The S5 TII coupe was never sold - or at least only in unicorn like numbers - in my country and I don't like the black trim on the body panels of the S4. I was wondering how much effort it would take to convert it to S5 looks.
I'm aware that this probably isn't an easy task and there is a lot of work involved, but I want to know if that would even be possible without completely breaking myself or the car.
Fenders could be swapped to the wider FEED variant - if they're still sold/produced - and the bumpers should be a comparatively easy swap as well but the biggest issue I think are the doors - is it possible to to swap them in from an S5?
Or - if the doors are a panel and a frame - swap on a panel from a convertible?

tl;dr: What does it take to convert a S4 TII to S5 TII outside looks besides swapping tail lights

Cheers

Welcome to the board. :)

You will want to get all removable body pieces (fenders, bumpers, doors, etc). In addition to that, you will need to get the ground effects (front, sides). Everything will bolt on - no problem. I don't know if you're using aftermarket wheels or not, but the wheels were completely different as well - again, bolt on, no problem. Personally, it seems like a total waste to me, but I completely respect that it is your car, you coin and your decision. Good luck with it.

Hi, thank you :)

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
I'd probably do best with replacing the stock fenders with some wider variants to fit some RPF1's, 17x9+22 with thick rubber on all four corners since I want it to be a street car which can run the occasional track day no problem. FEED was the only one making them if I recall correctly, weren't they? Also, are the doors one piece or a panel + frame construction, would you happen to know that?

Cheers

Edit: A thought that popped into my head - if the trim is a clip/glue on piece I could just paint it seperately but I kinda doubt that it is, judging from the looks of it.
