Rx7 cranking ignites a little and still won't start

Hello. So I recently got my hands on an 88 convertible. I've replaced the spark plugs and the fuel injectors and it still won't start. The guy I got it from said he rebuilt it recently but didn't have time for the rest.

Run a compression test if you haven't already. Troubleshooting is a waste of time if the compression isn't within spec.

Also make sure the battery voltage is 12.3 at least. If not, charge it up

Check Crank Angle Sensor adjustment, fuel lines connected in right spot, and coil wires connected correctly. If it is a manual car you can pull or push start it. Battery charged and compression check as already mentioned of course.

The guy didnt have time for the rest? What rest? Are you talking about a car with missing parts or small derails that make the car run? Did you ever saw the car running? I am sorry to ask, but maybe you bought a incomplete project that who knows what was done to the car.

I was going to ask - did the rebuild ever run? Also, there's a possibility it could be flooded from all the cranking.

I got it to start but it now won't idle. It just allows me to rev itit. Although if I catch it before it dies, flooring the throttle it idles at 750

I got it running but now it won't idle unless I floor it before it dies. Otherwise as soon as it starts up I can keep it running over 3000 rpm or so
