Rob

Hi, I have a 1988 RX7, I have water in the oil, it looks like a milk shake. I have disassembled the front of the motor all the way to the timing chain. One of the freeze plugs looks like it might have leaked. ? Any help would be great.

This is the best thread title.

Do a coolant test on the cooling system with one of these.

I was confused and thought I clicked on the wrong one when I looked back at the title.

That isn't the timing chain, its the oil pump chain, no timing chain in a rotary. I agree with Kansas, pressurize the system and make sure you know where its coming from before you think you fixed it, and have to tear it all back apart

Most of time you can see a hole in the freeze plug or a brown water stain, poke around with an ice pick or something sharp don't be afraid to scrap a little if the plug is good you won't poke through it. If in doubt change it. Be sure to but some sealant around it and clean the edges of the block.
