quick exhaust question...

i just recently put an ES muffler on and its connected to 2.5in tubing, RB headers and a pre-silencer... my question is that its a bit loud for my liking. how can i dampen the noise? i know i need a cat and possibly a resonator... is there anything that im missing or can do at an affordable price...? any help is greatly appreciated... thanks

Either a cat or a resonator will greatly reduce the noise. A resonator will be cheaper then a cat, if price matters.

An RB header and presilencer replaces the stock precats and main cat. If you want to add a new cat or an additional resonator in, it would have to be directly before your muffler. There's not much room to work with there, since it travels under the rear subframe.

Resonator = presilencer, so you've already got the largest one I know of. RB's silencer is about 20" long. I'd personally go back to a dual muffler setup to dampen the noise. RB makes a nice one, that's not cheap, but it works very well.
