Questions about SA RX-7 bumper

Ok so i have a 79 1st gen rx7 and i HATE THE BUMPERS!!! anyone know if they can interchange with like oooh.. any other actual bumper? dont like the stick out of them...

Tuck them in, they look pretty sharp when that has been done.

You can switch to the FB soft style, but that isnt too appealing imo and also requires replacing the fenders to do it correctly.

Sell your SA to someone who will appreciate it for the seminal design that it is, and buy an FB.

PS; those ARE "actual bumpers." Honest-to-god, federal-mandated, will-withstand-a-5MPH-impact-without-deforming-the-car bumpers.

The vinyl skins stuffed with styrofoam and used underwear they put on cars today aren't bumpers, they're cash absorbers.

you have to remember that people here are dedicated RX-7 ehthusiests..its gets people worked up when you start talking about nipping and tucking and cutting on an SA. the reason is that there aren't many around anymore and its almost a cardinal sin around these parts to be speaking of such things. just try to see that the guys aren't criticizing..they're just attempting to redirect your ideas.. its like someone sewing sleeves of a different color onto your favorite t-shirt..thats how the guys here look at it.

I'm going to remind everyone to stay on the topic of the thread.

If you're just joining the board, mind your language, friendly warning this time. I've no patience for flaming or rabid responses by the "offended" to such postings which we call "thread crapping" on this website.
