Parklights and dash lights on with brakes.

I have a problem I can't figure out. It's sort of a long story. I put led bulbs in for tail/brake. One of the bulbs had a small washer stuck on the bottom between terminals that I didn't notice. I put it together and every time I push the brake pedal the park lights come on as well as the instrument lights. This happens with the key on or off. Eventually I found the small washer and removed it. Unfortunately it still does this. I have tried a different cpu. I thought this would fix it. It didn't. I removed the headlight switch and checked for damaged terminals. I have also tried a different warning display and a used headlight switch. It's still doing it and it drives me crazy. I've stared at wiring diagrams for hours. Any ideas?

And what happens when you just pull your LED bulbs? Do you get the very same results?

The plug which connects to the tail light housings has 5 wires to it. The Green wire is for the brake lights such that when you depress the brake pedal it would therefor cause voltage to appear on the Green wire. The Red/Black wire in this plug is for the parking/side marker lights. This wire should only have power when the headlight switch is turned to either the 1st or 2nd position. If it has voltage when the brakes are depressed then you are likely backfeeding voltage from the Green wire to the R/B wire. Also, the plug has a Red/Green wire which powers the lights in the dash and so on. If the R/B wire is being backfed voltage then that wire runs to the headlight switch and it is sending that voltage to the R/G wire which then illuminates the dash lights. Chances are you just have the wrong LED bulbs or more importantly the resistor is wired in wrong.
