overheating and leaks

ok so i own a 86 13b ,i was driving it home and being a little heavy on the gas.like i always do when i get home if i ran it hard i checked over everything made sure it wasnt leaking and such.well it was leaking coolant from the line under the oil filter ,it looked like it just got blown apart.so i put a new one on drove it around and now the car is getting close to the h with in a few mins of idle and driving regular at low speeds.i also noticed the main line from my radiator was very badly bulging out near the cap furthest away from the radiator.there was a little steam coming out the previous line i fixed under the oil filter . im stumped, can anybody help me out and possibly give me some advice or ideas or opions

Unfortunately, the odds are the engine has blown coolant seals and/or damaged the water jacket. If that hose bursts, it will rapidly drain the rear housing/iron of coolant. If it overheats within a few minutes of idling, it's done. I've had this happen, and that engine did not make it.

If you replaced the hose that goes from the engine to the heater core, did you fill up with coolant and bleed the air from the system?
The cooling system can be a bit of a prick to get the air out of.(best suggestion I heard of ,if all else fails,is to take the cap off and park on a upgrade.after getting engine warm.)
Anyways I would pressure test the cooling system and also compression test the engine too.

okay update i read some other guys post how he doesnt use his thermostat so i figured i would try to take it out and see if it still got hot .well it didnt and all the old problems went away.so i was excited cause i knew all i needed was a new thermostat.then as i was gonna shut her off i had a buzzing sounds that was constant, then i looked under the car and bam water leaking from what looks like the driver and passenger seat area im lost lol
