Opinions on new mods

So I recently bought an FC rx7 S5 NA currently my DD but also want to make it a track car as well. My over all plan is to do a turbo engine swap but in my current condition I don't have time, money, and knowledge to do that. What mods can I do to the car that I won't have to replace when I do the swap? I'm already saving up for coilovers.

Need more information about what "track car" means.

For example:
- Type of racing (autocross, drag racing, road racing, rally, drifting, etc.)
- Racing body (SCCA, NASA, IMSA, NHRA, etc.)
- Racing class if known (GT1, GT2, GT3, GTL, EP, etc.)

I recommend against converting a NA into a turbo RX-7 because it is always easier and almost always cheaper to simply buy an actual Turbo II RX-7. If you do not have a lot of time, money, or skill, then this is especially true. Also, you may find that the NA car is better suited for daily driving as well as racing. The majority of famous race-winning Mazda rotaries had NA engines.

You can register (free) with Mazda to get preferred racer pricing on parts. Yes, this is even if you are the worst driver on the planet and all you do is enter a cheapie local SCCA solo autocross event twice each year and place dead last every time. How great is that? :icon_tup:
