Oil Bypass Pellet stuck
I recently shimmed my oil bypass pellet. After I loosened the bolt and shimmed in and what not I was told that the clutch was to be pressed in the entire time while the bolt was out. I put back in pulleys line up thought I was in the clear. ran it down the street and then the next morning it wouldn't start. went back in (with the clutch down) and the pellet is stuck in there. Do I have major issues here or did I torque down that pulley bolt a bit too much?

Might have put it in backwards... If its stuck ur sol.
And please tell us model year and mods , why did you shim it in the first place? |

It took tearing down the engine and replacing the Eshaft and pellet, etc as the Pellet just would NOT come out..no matter what I tried!..and I tried,,holy Hell I tried! |
It's an 1988 GXL. I got it out. the washers were a spidge too wide.
