Cognitive decay is bad for me today. Where does this go? And no I'm sadly not kidding. :-(

Clutch throw out bearing.
But you never listed your Car series so I will guess it goes in a 97 GEO.

You are correct, it is a '97 Geo...or an '85 RX-7, my brain is going down fast.

.hmm..First GEN Geo then..lol!
it goes on the Clutch fork,on the trans.
is it about the size of the bottom of a beer can(about an inch thick) and have a tab on the back on each side.
just making sure that it IS a throw out bearing as you are only showing the front side of it and it sort of looks like a wheel bearing too, from that shot..

This is the conumdrum I'm having. So as you described a throw-out bearing, and I have a brand new throw-out bearing from the kit. This bearing is completely seperate from the throw-out and the pilot bearing that were included in the kit, which is possibly why I'm confused? Maybe a countershaft bearing since my transmission is the same that goes into the B2200?

try this page and see if anything matches to what you have.

I'm starting to wonder if that was put in the kit as a pilot bearing seal, but you know, isn't a pilot bearing seal at all (it is a one way bearing)?

It's a bearing that doesn't get used for your car. That clutch kit will fit other cars and it is easier for them to make one sku instead of multiple, they just package it with the bearing. So in other words you don't use it.

Thank God, I figured it was for the B2200 instead, but wasn't sure.

I bought a Sachs kit for my '79/'85('79 body and '85 12a motor) and it came with that bearing as well.
