Ok. Found my boost leak in the plastic air hose that appears to be stock. Comes from the passenger side up over top the motor and then down the front. When i removed it I noticed oil inside of it. Is this normal? :dunno:

Looks like an FD, so yeah, it's normal for almost all the plastic engine bay parts to fail.

i dont think he is asking mainly about the plastic failin but more about the oil inside the part. im not sure but it is very possible due to the fact that the tubro is oil cooled

True. Thank you. My main concern is not the plastic but the oil inside. It's not pouring out just lined the inside of the tube/hose.

Thank you. Music to my ears.

It is normal for the turbos to bypass a little oil, leading to a slight oil film on the inside of the piping. But drops and drippings...not so much with the normal.

Oil is normal. A wet film is pretty much normal unless your turbos are brand new.

If you are seeing oil smoke out the exhaust under heavy throttle, or puddles of oil down in the pipe leading into the intercooler, then it's problematic.
