No Start. Possibly electrical.

I could really use some help. I have a 95 RX-7 R2 that I got about a month ago. It didnt start one day so I checked the fuses.

EGI fuse was blown. I replaced that and a few others that looked old.

I went to start it again and, once again, no start. The fuse is still in tact but, when I took the key out, all the warning lights on the dash stayed on until I pulled the negative terminal on the battery.

I had the battery and alternator tested. Alternator was good but the battery needed to be replaced. So, I installed the new battery. Still no good.

I traced a wire that went from the engine fuse under the dash to the PFC as the reason why the lights were staying on. It connects to the Black with White stripe wire that I believe to be be the 12V switch. It seems to have constant power?

With that wire removed, the lights go out when the key is removed but the No-Start issue remains.

Checked the relays. They all click.

I'd like some input as to what I should try next. Thanks in advance.

There is power going to the fuel pump but I do not hear it priming when trying to start the car.
Going to try to find a replacement. Hopefully that works.

Blown fuse is a symptom, not a cause. You probably have a short somewhere. The challenge is finding it. Good luck

I got it running last night. Found two possible wires that could have caused the short. Repaired those and did some regrounding while I was at it. Now all is good. Thanks.
