New to the wankel engine, big rotary fan already.

Hey, everyone.
I'm new to the forum, new to rotary, new to most everything here.
I drive a prelude, right now, and I'm looking to get into a nice old 300ZX turbo, a Porsche 944, or an RX7.

I figured, since the RX7 is on the list of cars I'd rather have than the prelude AND can still afford, I should learn about them.

I'm looking for resources on the Wankel engine, how it works, ups and downs, tuning, easy gains, things like that.

Things that a beginner can understand until I get a little deeper into how things work.

I understand the power stroke and all that, but if anyone has any ideas where I might find a good reference that isn't wikipedia, because I've read it about a hundred times, I'd love to see it.

Thanks in advance, and sorry if I missed a thread that already has this information in it.
I was going to browse through the gen-specific threads, but, post count and everything, ya' know?

You can actually also find a surprising amount of good content by just searching YouTube for "wanke" and "rotary".

Specific to RX-7s, the FAQs for each generation on this site are the best place to start.

Hey Aaron, I'm not so sure that's a good idea. You'll get a lot of hits for "Wanker" and "Wanked"

Awesome, thanks.
I've been browsing around on the site, too.
There's some great stuff here.
