New speakers two issues, non-bose

Hello

I've been getting my car back up and going after about 1-1/2 years in storage, good news is it runs like it suppose to, bad news is I'm finding a few issues. My latest is related to non-bose speaker replacement. I replaced the right rear speaker with a Rockford Fosgate 6 x 8 P1683, wired the blue/yellow to the negative (-) terminal on the speaker per Max Cooper speaker install and now have a clicking/ticking noise through the speakers. Doing some research it sounded like it may have been a bad ground so I pulled the head unit (older Sony CDX-C480) and found some corrosion on the back of the unit. Unplugged the adapter and antenna and my hazards went off. I assumed this was the factory alarm and dried to disarm it normally via key in the driver door/ lock un-lock. This did not work so I plugged the Sony unit back in and have the same problem with the hazards going off and still cannot disarm it.
So my two questions are, what caused the clicking/ticking in the speakers and how do I disarm remedy the hazards/alarm situation. Thanks for the help.

Well I figured out the hazard light situation. It ended up being a contact on the switch in the dash. Cleaned it up and works as it should. The ticking/clicking sound is still an issue, seems it's there even when the car is off and key is removed. I disconnected the negative terminal for now so I don't drain the battery. Any works of advise on were to start on diagnosing this?

The positive and negative wires could be touching. Try putting some electrical tape around the positive to see if that helps. Check where it connects to the head unit as well as the speaker.
