New Member with Odometer-Display Problems
Hello. My name is Don. I have a '94 RX7 and I guess, from the number of posts relating to odometer problems, I'm not at all alone on this one. My odometer/mileage readout went dead over a year ago and so far replacing the 1,000uf capacitor did not resolve the problem. So I intend now to replace the
10uf/50v caps and the p209 transistor. Information relating to these parts along with excellent photos have been kindly offered to the club membership by other members who have had similar problems. My only question is if the p209 is actually a transistor and/or what specific number designation is available for this component so it can be purchased from Mouser or elsewhere? The "p209" does not seem to provide any search results so I really have no information on this component. If anybody knows what this part is and has a manufacturer or number identification that I could plug into the Mouser search box that would be greatly appreciated. I believe it is a TO-92 NPN transistor but this I don't know for sure and I don't want to make a mistake and screw up the electronics. Would be happy to provide any information to others that may be helpful once I resolve the problem. Looking forward to any assistance that can be provided. Aloha from Hawaii. DonV
