New Guy from NH w/ a "Barn Find"

Hello all, I am somewhat new the this Club. I have been a member for a few weeks now and constantly run into threads when I am researching technical questions from Google. So here I am. Glad that such a place for us RX7 luvers exists!
I now have an '87 Turbo II that I found as a "Barn Find". One of those stories that you hear about and hope that it is you someday, well it was me this time. I met an old timer at a Coffee shop. We see each other in the mornings there. We got to talking and I found out that he has an RX7 in his garage. After a few weeks I went and checked her out (the car that is) and sure enough, a Red '87 RX7 Turbo II in excellent condition! She has 163K miles but thats the only bad part! He has kept it detailed since he bought it back in 1990 with 50k at the time. It has always been in a somewhat heated garage and treated like his first born child.
My only concern has been that it wasn't stored correctly, not winterized, and has not been run since he drove it in there back in 1998, where it sat. The tires still hold air and everything though! Since then I have researched what to do before starting after such a long time and I am currently working on that one step at a time before I turn her over. Any hints or money saving tips would be excellent.
I love this site and am excited to enjoy its fruits!
Later folks!

Welcome aboard, "aj", and congrats on the barn find! I moved this thread into the tech board since it will get more hits and help here. The intro board is for why you went rotary and what's yer name kinda stuff. ;)

Let's see how many 2ndgen guru's are up tonight. I'm a 1stgen guy myself, still playing with carburetors.
