New to the Game

Hey guys!

So I picked up an 87 GXL with a TII conversion and no compression on the rear rotor. Now my dad has worked with rotaries before but neither of us know much about modifying them beyond minor porting. Now the car I bought has the full RevII exhaust and on RacingBeats sight they said it requires their fuel cut controller since it ups boost to around 10-11psi. Is that true? And also I would like to do a bridgeport on this car depending on what shape the housings are in. What kind of modifications would I be looking at to run this exhaust and a street port or a bridgeport is possible? I would love to get this car to around 300hp but I need more experience and know how before I even think about that.

Sorry if I sound like an idiot, I just don't know much about mods and supporting ones!

Thank you

well of you allow the engine to breathe more then Yes you will need a way to control fuel a bit more..and that is where the fuel cut defender comes in.
Now if you plan to Bridgeport it,then things change again.
That will require more of a fuel control than what the Stock ECU can handle and you are looking at a new fuel system.ecu, and of course a new turbo..as the stock turbo will not be able to handle anything above 10-12 PSI efficiently, and lack the power that the new Bridgeport will have with all the new gear on it.
